Tuesday brought on a lot of anticipation when Montana told me in math class that she was allowed to come over after school the next day. I agreed with that too; we couldn’t just keep inviting girls in, no matter how unfair it was that God only made one Ean. Beeg It took the two remaining school days of that week and countless hours over the phone before Montana finally came to understand that what I needed most from her was to act as if nothing ever happened; act as if a baby never even existed inside of me.
